The Project

Edén (Eden) was filmed on location in central Mexico and New York City.

This debut feature film by writer-director Elise DuRant is made with the dedicated effort of a talented cast and crewcommunity participation, tax-deductible contributions through Edén’s fiscal sponsor New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), a New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) grant, the support of Women Make Movies, and the Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund.

Edén made its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and has since traveled the world to festivals including Mar del Plata International Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Durban International Film Festival, and Göteborg International Film Festival.  In the spring of 2015, Edén premiered in the U.S. at the Atlanta Film Festival where it screened at the High Museum of Art.  Most recently, it received Montclair Film Festival’s Future/Now Competition Grand Jury Prize.
